If you have been laid off and/or are receiving Employment Insurance, are receiving Ontario Works, or are a person with a disability, you may qualify for funding for tuition and necessary equipment to complete the skills training course.

Registering and Information:
Building Trades program Intake and Information sessions are held on Thursday mornings at 10:00 am. General program information including the course outline, duration, topics covered, expected outcomes and the teaching methodologies are covered during the orientation. Following the orientation session the program coordinator meets with each person individually to explain the application and approval process.

Ontario Works applicants should bring in a Skills Training Directly Leading to Employment (STDLE) Referral form if they have one.
Please be punctual, as the information sessions start promptly at 10:00 am.

Avenues to Advancement intake sessions for clients receiving Ontario Works are by appointment with the Employment Skills Facilitator.  You may set up an appointment by calling 416-350-2331 ext. 101.  You should bring in your resume and your Referral form.

Intake for ODSP Employment Supports takes place every Friday at 10 am.  An orientation to Ability Learning Network and the services provided is delivered in a group followed by individual appointments with those who are interested completing an intake application.
